There’s nothing I love more than capturing two people saying “I do” surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
I like to pride myself on being a discreet addition to your wedding and capturing moments you will look back on for years to come. Whether that’s through fun filled laughter, deep and tearful speeches or romantic vows, I'll create a video that will showcase your day, your way.
I’m originally from Aberdeen and now live a little further south in Edinburgh, however I film weddings all over Scotland. (And happy to travel overseas, if you want me!)
But why should you get a videographer? Well, I may be biased but your wedding day is a day that you’ll want to remember forever, and what’s better than memories? A film to look back on in years to come. It’s also something you can share with anyone who couldn’t make it along or those who maybe aren’t here yet.
PS. I don’t normally wear fascinators and drink prosecco on the job! But that’s what happens when you’re a videographer at 11am and a guest at 7pm…

My standard package

What I film...
I arrive 2-3 hours before your ceremony to capture those ‘getting ready’ shots. Whether it’s a slow mo “Cheers” with your wedding party, the glam squad close ups or the first look before you head down the aisle.
Then I’ll capture right through your ceremony through until the last word of the speeches. This includes your portrait session with your photographer too!
I also hang around for your first three dances. You can’t have a wedding video without some dodgy dance moves included!

What you get...
Within 72 hours of your wedding day, I will send you a 30- second teaser clip to share on social media. This will give you a little taster of what I shot on the day.
You will then receive a 10-15 minute highlight film within 4-6 weeks and a full cut of your big day which normally lasts around 90 minutes. This includes your ceremony and speeches in full as well as some candid shots throughout the day.
These are all delivered on a gold USB in a presentation keepsake box.

What it costs...
The bit you’ve been waiting for… This basic package costs £1800.
However, I can trim or bulk the package however you like which will reduce or increase the price.
To secure your date, I also require a non-refundable deposit of £500 and a returned signed contract.

Pre-Wedding Session
Want an opportunity to get used to the video camera? Or maybe you’re a seasoned pro looking to get even more content into your wedding film…
This option includes a 60- minute session in your desired Scottish location. This allows me to get to know you both better and also gives me even more footage to work with in the edit!

Ever got to the end of the night and your guests are too busy dancing and chatting to sign your guestbook? Well, what about a video guest book?
I can get live footage of your guests’ well-wishes and messages intermittently throughout the day and evening celebrations.

What makes a Xana Creative wedding film unique?
I love ‘love’ and that’s what I’m there to capture. What makes you a perfect couple? Is it your devotion to family? We’ll get the whole gang involved and plenty of candid shots of hugging and dancing. Is it the way you make each other laugh? Then be prepared for quiet moments together giggling.
I’m here to tell your story, and every one is different.
We’re just having a wee wedding, can you help?
No problem! If you’re eloping or just having a small affair, I can still create a wedding film for you outwith my basic package. A wee wedding tends to include some prep, your ceremony, some couple moments and, if you’re doing them, speeches. Prices start from £500.
Do you film destination weddings?
Yes, absolutely, sign me up! If you’re jetting off for your big day, I can absolutely be a part of it. Prices are the same as if you’re getting hitched in Scotland, but will also include travel and accommodation expenses for 2 nights.
Do you use a drone?
No. At present I am drone-less! This is something I will hopefully be able to offer in the future and if I can, I’ll let you know.
How far ahead can I book for my wedding?
Currently I still have a few dates available for 2022 and my 2023 diary is wide open. If you’re looking for a 2024 date, feel free to enquire and you’ll be added to my list but the diary isn’t officially open for then yet.
Do you use a second camera operator?
No, it’s just me! I tend to film your ceremony and speeches with 2-3 cameras and then film everything else on my own. I like to blend into the background of your day and find that’s a little easier if there’s only one of me!
